Community Youth Advance

Branding a non-profit in education and mentorship.

When Mentoring to Manhood and Community Tutoring were forming a merger, they needed a new identity. They were set on Community Youth Advance and I designed an identity to support their new mission. The people are made from star shapes to represent each having their own light. One is larger to represent the mentor and tutor showing the child the way. The child star is pointing just as the adult to show understanding. Both star people are pointing forward. The tagline captures the mission of each program—teaching for the education component; reaching for the mentoring component; and keeping for maintaining academic support and mentorship beyond secondary education.
